JESUS, CAESAR'S MESSIAH, REAL CHRISTIANITY

...

The biblical scholar Joseph Atwill claims that the story of Jesus Christ is a HOAX designed to control the people.

Joseph Atwill's Blog | Discussing "Caesar's Messiah".

Atwill says that the Jesus story was designed by the Roman empire to justify slavery and to pacify the citizens.

Atwill writes: "Christianity was actually developed and used as a system of mind control to produce slaves that believed God decreed their slavery.”

Story of Jesus Christ was a HOAX designed to control the people, Biblical scholar claims

Atwill is very pro-Israel.

His claims have apparently been debunked.[2][3][4

John Dominic Crossan (above), professor emeritus at De Paul University Chicago, "believes that less than 20 percent of what we read in the Gospels are original sayings of Jesus."

Jesus attacked the Old Testament.

Jesus said: "Turn the other cheek."

We think that those Jewish Christians who wrote the New Testament made alterations to the Jesus story, in order to tie it in with the Old Testament.

And, we think that the Romans made alterations to the Jesus story, in order to aid the Roman empire.

But, the true parts of the Jesus story have been of benefit to the world.

Joseph Atwill argues that, at the time of Jesus, Jewish sects in Palestine were awaiting a 'warrior Messiah'.

According to Atwill, the Powers-That-Be thus designed the Jesus story in such a way that it would appear to give the people a Messiah, while at the same time making sure that the people remained slaves.

Atwill says: "Instead of inspiring warfare, this Messiah urged 'turn-the-other-cheek pacifism' and encouraged Jews to 'give onto Caesar' and pay their taxes to Rome.

"Christianity can be ... an insidious form of mind control that has led to blind acceptance of serfdom, poverty..."

What do we think?

Atwill, being a fan of Israel, does not like a pacifist Jesus.

Many of the people who have opposed poverty and serfdom are the followers of the Real Jesus.

What evidence is there that Jesus was (A) an opponent of the Establishment, or (B) a tool of the establisment?

1. Jesus shared meals with outcasts, which annoyed the Pharisees, strong supporters of the laws and traditions of the Jewish people.

Jesus said: "Be on your guard against the Doctors of the Law, who like to walk about in robes and be saluted in the streets... who devour the livelihood of widows..."

2. Jesus talked of 'good people' being his 'brothers' and 'sisters'.

3. Jesus urged people to 'renounce self'.

Jesus said: "If anyone wishes to be the first, he must be the last of all and the servant of all."

Jesus said: "Why do you call me good? No one but God is good."

4. Jesus said: "How difficult it is for men of wealth to enter the Kingdom of God."

We are a fan of Jesus.
David and Jonathan.

Jesus appears to attack the Old Testament.

Jesus said: "Turn the other cheek."

In Numbers 31:14, 17, 18: "Moses said 'Kill all the women and boys, but keep the girls for yourselves."

Moses, if he ever existed, was obviously a child killer.

The Bible is like the curate's egg - good in parts.

The Bible, like the Koran, is a very human attempt to describe what life is all about.

In Matthew 5:1,2  "Jesus went up into a mountain: and when he was ready, his disciples came to him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying...."

This is the Sermon on the Mount.

In Luke 6:17,20: "Jesus stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people...came to hear him.. And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples and said..."

This is the Sermon on the Mount, but, it is in the plain.

Luke seems to be making it up.

..

The Old Testament is endless contradictions.

In Isaiah 14:21 we read that people should "Kill the children because of the sins of their fathers."

In Deuteronomy 24:16 we read "Children should not be put to death for the sins of their fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin."

In Jeremiah 13:14 we read: "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling."

In Psalms 145:9 we read: "The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works."

A List Of Biblical Contradictions

Christians killing Christians.

In Jeremiah 32:27 we read "God is all powerful."

In Judges 1:19 we read: "God is not all powerful."

Biblical Contradictions

..

Many of the people who leave comments on this blog have been brainwashed by fundamentalist Christians.

Sensible Christians "consider some passages of the Bible (e.g. those referring to slaveryburning some hookers alive, forcing rape victims to marry their rapists, raping female prisoners of war, etc.) as not being valid today, as immoral, and against the will of God.

"They differentiate among various homosexual and heterosexual sex practices, treating some (rape, prostitution, temple sex rituals) as immoral and some (consesual activity within committed relationships) as positive."

The early Christians had various theories about Jesus.

Jesus did not become 'officially' divine until 325 AD.

This was when the Council of Nicaea, set up by the Roman emperor Constantine, decided that Jesus, like many Roman Emperors, was divine.

Most scholars agree that Jesus did actually exist.

"Amy-Jill Levine states that ... 'there is a consensus of sorts on the basic outline of Jesus' life' in that most scholars agree that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, debated Jewish authorities on the subject of God, performed some healings, gathered followers...."[68]

Christ myth theory - Wikipedia

In The Historical Jesus; Five Views, Robert Price suggests that the story of Jesus in the Gospels contains borrowings from pagan mythology.

In the same book, Professor Luke Timothy Johnson lists all the things historians can know with 'a very high degree of probability' about Jesus - Jesus taught in parables, Jesus healed people, Jesus taught about God's Kingdom.

The Recliner Commentaries: Five views of the historical Jesus

Osiris's resurrection is celebrated on the third day

Does the story of Jesus show strong parallels to myths of dying and rising gods?

Apparently not.

"Early in the 20th century, Gerald Massey argued that there are similarities between the Egyptian dying-and-rising god myths and Jesus.[22]

"Massey stated that the biblical references to Herod the Great were based on the myth of 'Herrut' the evil hydra serpent."

However, the existence of Herod the Great "can be well established without reliance on Christian sources."[23]

In other words, Herod was not Herrut.

"The overall scholarly consensus is that while the examples provided often involve death of the deity, they do not generally involve resurrection of the same deity.[2]

"Eddy and Boyd state that upon careful analysis, it turns out that there is often either no death, no resurrection or no god in the examples used to construct each of the examples in the category.[17]

"Jonathan Z. Smith, a scholar of comparative religions, writes the category is 'largely a misnomer based on imaginative reconstructions and exceedingly late or highly ambiguous texts.'[1][37]

Mithraism

Is Christianity similar to the Roman religion Mithraism?

Early Christian authors "took an extremely negative view of Mithraism" and saw their practices "as evil copies of Christian practices."[209]

Stanley porter notes that "Mithraism only reached Asia minor in the latter part of the first century, after the basic elements of the gospels were in place, and hence could not have influenced the essential elements of the gospels."[211]

www.ellenwhite.info

David Strauss (1808–1874), a German theologian, believed that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and that the encounter had influenced the views of Jesus.

However, Strauss believed that "the additional elements of the sky opening, the dove descending on Jesus as the Holy Spirit, etc. were subsequent miraculous embellishments by the authors of the gospels intended to emphasize the importance of a key event in the life of Jesus."[220] [225]

Strauss believed that the divine spirit was embedded in all of humanity.

In 1890, Sir James George Frazer published the first edition of The Golden Bough which showed "the shared elements of religious belief."

Frazer himself believed that Jesus existed.[235]

William Benjamin Smith (1850–1934) argued for a symbolic interpretation of the stories about Jesus.

Smith argues that in the parable of the Jesus and the rich young manthere never was a young man, and the young man symbolizes the nation of Israel.[254]

"Free will allows us to choose to continue to influence reality with our memories (Ego)

Or we can choose to accept our identity as projections of the Father and consciously co-create with the Father...

"Quantum physics has proven that the belief of the observer is translated in the test tube.

"Each energy packet can become particle or remain as energy depending on the expectation of the observer.

"This is known as the observer effect.

"Positive Thinking is Merely Scratching the Surface of Truth: We must be attentive to intuition

"As the Quantum physicist has discovered, our beliefs come true.

"This is the key to the kingdom which we forgot shortly after birth.

"Our parents probably forgot that we are connected, just as they are connected to the One.

"In this same way, Herod of Judea forgot that he and Jesus were both born of the Creator/Father/One.

"Herod attempted to kill Jesus by ordering all the newborn children of Bethlehem to be slain.

"But, since Joseph was attentive to his intuition, (for intuitive training go to Andrea Hess...) he was warned by the One/Creator/Father to flee to Egypt.

"Jesus was safe during His childhood. They only returned to Israel after they were told of the death of Herod.

"When Jesus was grown, he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights before beginning His ministry... a month of fasting will cause an altered state of reality.

"When Jesus was tempted by His Ego to turn the stones into bread, He reminded the tempter that 'man does not live by bread alone.' Thus He determined to finish his vision quest...

"Jesus told the Ego to get behind Him because it is only the One/Source/Creator who would be served.

"To accept our identity as co-Creators with the One, we must put our finite Egos behind us.

"Our Subconscious mind is connected to our Higher Mind and to the Creator/One/Source.

"The Ego is only connected to our conscious minds and helps keep us involved in this physical world.

"But, at the same time, we must learn to influence our Subconscious Minds in order to create our reality..."

Who was Jesus?

John Dominic Crossan, professor emeritus at De Paul University Chicago, is an Irish-American religious scholar.

(John Dominic Crossan Web Site)

Crossan "believes that less than 20 percent of what we read in the Gospels are original sayings of Jesus."

Crossan does not dispute that Jesus Christ really lived.

Independent accounts "prove that in ancient times even the opponents of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus." (Quoted in Josh McDowell, Evidence That Demands a Verdict, vol. 1 (Nashville: Nelson, 1979), 87.)

Crossan sees Jesus as a healer and man of great wisdom. (John Dominic Crossan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )

The fundamentalists are no fun

According to Crossan, Jesus's teachings would have upset the elite.

According to Crossan, "The Kingdom of God comes not at some future time

"You cannot point out the sign of its coming

"The Kingdom of God comes not at some special site

"You cannot point out the place of its coming

"The Kingdom of God is already here, among you, now."

Egyptians, by Veralyn Adeyinka

In a review of a Crossan book, Peter Broady wrote (Review of The Essential Jesus by John Dominic Crossan.):

"One can only wonder what the Jewish peasant who spoke of the poor and destitute as ‘blessed’ along with the ‘peacemakers’ and ‘those that hunger and thirst after justice’, and said that it is nearly impossible for wealth and the ‘kingdom of God’ to coexist, would think of our unimaginably wealthy country where the gap between rich and poor has reached heights unimaginable in his time..."

The following is fiction:

James: How was your trip to India to meet the great guru?

Peter: I enjoyed India. But I've come to the conclusion that the only good guru is a humble guru. The guru I met in India was sitting on a throne and claiming to understand everything about the universe. He did not look in good health. He may be what you call a 'theomaniac': someone who gets very easily irritated and doesn't like being contradicted.

James: You don't think Jesus was perfect?

Peter: Jesus said, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God." He also said that he was not seeking glory for himself.

James: That suggests that Jesus was capable of making some mistakes.

Peter: Exactly. Remember that Jesus wanted people to be humble, like little children. He wanted people to see themselves as servants. Jesus washed people's feet.

James: What about Jesus when he was criticising some of the Jewish leaders and calling them names? In Matthew, Jesus says, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!... You blind fools!... You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell?"

Peter: This seems to conflict with Jesus's teaching about not judging people; and about seeing your own faults; about turning the other cheek and about not resisting evil.

James: What do think Jesus thought about God and life after death?

Peter: I think Jesus used parables because it's not possible to explain all these things very easily in words. When Jesus talked about being at one with the Father, that could mean many different things. I think Jesus believed that we can all be one with the divine.

James: So your guru must be humble.

Peter: The guru must teach that we should be humble, kindly and flexible in our thinking. But, the guru must himself be humble, kindly and flexible.

The Religion OF Jesus - not ABOUT Jesus: Toward the theology OF Jesus

A man born in the Middle East two thousand years ago, before mass migration, would have had olive skin, brown eyes, black hair and beard. He would not have been a blue-eyed blond Aryan. He would have looked more like Osama bin Laden than George Bush.

I used to think there was once a man called Jesus, maybe an anti-Roman radical who was rewritten as a harmless peacenik, until real life educated me. I now know he is a construct of several pagan deities created to overpower and destroy them all.

Proof of Life is no more linear than Proof of Death.
Everyone mostly understands how Space gets entropic from what is called Time.

No one mostly has to stick around and see the gift from Time.
Probably a love story. Like most stuff, Dad works, Mom keeps house.

There were times when having a human mother and a traveling father kind of was just the fissure and the repair. Now everybody has a damned opinion.

Probably something to do with free will for the dead. Mostly fixed, until earlier.

That is only fair.

Bill Hicks said it's just a ride, but its not, its a game, and we're in it.
The Creator embedded clues. It takes all of us to dig them out. Quantum science is at the cutting edge of discovering that we live in a collective consciousness-shaped reality.
The Power makes war on that consciousness, is accelerating that war now to shift us away from its discovery, the discovery that if we 7 billion decided the world should be a different place then only our annihilation could prevent that.
They realise this change in understanding must be prevented, but the Power is rapidly losing ground. Crowley saw this coming, said that the time would come when a "word" would need to be spoken...
Has the Power understood reality for aeons?
Did we build a tower of understanding, reaching up to the creation, understanding how the game is made, communicating worldwide with each other as now?
Were we destroyed by the power then? Are we getting to that point once more? Does it really go round and around?
Recall Crowley, "magic is shaping reality in accordance with will". Quantum.
Witness quantum computers, black obelisks, their refrigeration units beating like a heart, recall 2001 Space Oddity, think of the Black Knight. Clues?
History has given us many wise people that spoke the same message as Jesus, the good bits. Clues?
Many now feel we are approaching a turning point, a choosing. Do we create a world of love, win the game, shape reality differently, or are we Babylon again.
Babylon is at the start, in Genesis, and at the end, in Revelation.
Is the game written already, or do we get a chance to download a different operating system, wipe the malware?
Who knows.

Our world is filled with ignorant fools Atwill simply being one of them. It is obvious from the beginning of this post the Antichrist message is being promoted by Jews and therefore to be expected. The subjects this post seeks to cover are so vast as it is not possible for such to be examined rationally but I can share that the Old Testament covers different scenarios at different times requiring different responses. We should love one another however if someone seeks to kill me or my neighbour should I not act against the interest of the murderer and indeed put his life at risk? One size does not fit all but to truly address the person of Jesus there is a huge amount of historical evidence and little to support alternatives. To know the true person of Jesus you have to confront Him as to His being true and welcome Him into your life then you may well begin to experience the supernatural and come to live in the supernatural as I do daily. You can become one with the divine but such is way above the carnal reasoning being discussed in this post. That may seem a blanket statement but it is not and would require every statement in the post to be addressed individually which would itself take an inordinate amount of time. Better to suggest you go speak with the person of Jesus Himself directly: Ephesians 1 3-14 gives a succinct description as to what it means to be a true Christian.

Don't pretend, don't irritate – certainly accept the nature of m'plea is a wind-up for many. Normally alt. posts and the Bible are full-on dismissal “put this crock a crap to bed”. Except one rare un in Aangirfan where they/you provoke toward this, yet affirm more hopeful enquiry. Come to comment, wanting to say less, not stumble about crashing and crushing. More a friendly hug of appreciation. M'aim would be to encourage seeking this, 'claiming to love us' one, who is far from fussed we have questions and qualms (we should) – but present and reality, inviting communication for a response. Theoretical doubts on the back-burner and able to put wimpy and wonky Church out the way; is who/what/here, able to relate, somehow going to get through? And this – disputed – character in a – disputed – set of books/letters, what's about in the unseen?

One poor defense against a position and something 'not being a false-flag' is not being prepared to consider sufficiently available evidence, because it so looks what's being presented and anyway it's too much to have been pulled off. Or, the idea the outcomes doesn't match the motives? (When all this could be part of the convoluted double-bluffing sick scam). Unraveling is difficult, we might make errors of judgement but are we prepared to risk and anyway that keen to find if/what's there? There's an easy and overwhelmingly common answer to my preaching – “can't be bothered, frankly don't so much care”. Not even to oppose. Unless to get rude and run away. Question is – does it matter (to us)?

Is the Jesus story a false-flag or full-on hoax? On the argument of motive and outcome? Does it make sense and those claiming to be behind it? In this flag, we have a bunch of books called the Bible. Do they leave us with what, intended purposes? Do said-perpetrators (not who the Bible claims) and their needs, work out? Plenty else to wrangle about but face value, assume is what God/or scammers want us to read, does the Bible – let alone did it – achieve this? Pre-taken over and interpreted by and within establishment grasp (post 400) – what do the still-with-us scriptures say: Bow to 'Caesar' or stand and resist?

After too long and lots of dilly-dallying about, grabbing at God like there's no substitute. Yep needy. Finally rightly desperate. Taken yonks and been a lazy too easily distracted toe-rag. My message: if able to hold enough reasonable authenticity in possible theories about God of the Bible and – might be around? Be open to consider loves in and through Jesus. Call and see? That and debate openly with someone who is open and not so crushing and crashing that which is already held dear.

But what's the point of it all, why does God need our love? God cannot bed love, he is infinite. He therefore has no need for anyone. God cannot be a man, because men did not exist before women did. If triangles had a God, He would have three sides. It, I should say.

This does not explain the knee-jerk, if not visceral, hatred many Jews exhibit toward Jesus, nor the violent hostility toward him in Jewish texts such as the Talmud. Jesus's teachings and example are the greatest impediment to power-grabbing by any group alleging itself to be 'chosen'.

'Atwill says: "[Jesus]...encouraged Jews to 'give onto Caesar' and pay their taxes to Rome.' Here Jesus was not addressing his followers, but rather a cabal of degenerate plotters set on having him killed. Commentators who maintain that Jesus approved of obediantly paying taxes to the state (to finance the bombing of foreign peoples, for example?) never distinguish the context in which this statement was made. It's little wonder that people feeding on state-subsidized Sunday church sermons suffer from cognitive dissonance!

I always find it remarkable that so called religious and/or historical scholars fail to acknowledge certain known facts and conveniently omit well known personalities to fit their own failed assumptions. The search for your Christ is confused on purpose. The real story is indeed much stranger than fiction. Do any of use here really think the Roman Government back then or even today would admit to certain facts about a man like this? Of course not, they would deny and hide as much of his life as they could. Christ in his day would deliberately be omitted from the evening news and newspapers by TPTB. Any person teaching real independence from the yokes of power and tyranny would.

The age of Augustus. One of the greatest literary ages of our time and yet nothing really ever documented about a man named Jesus in his day, other than what’s in the NT, written many years after the facts. Nothing contemporary about Jesus, yet the symbol of a man hanging on a cross (Tropaeum) was already very well know from one end of the Roman empire to the other by the time the 1st century rolled around. How could this be? Think about this for a minute. The man hanging from the cross (Tropaeum) in his day was known as the real son of Venus and was also called Savior by many common citizens by his ordering of a debt Jubilee. Some senators did not approve of losing so much wealth. In any case, the cross is a symbol of victory, not death. A new religion doesn’t just happen overnight, it takes many, many, many years of preparation for the soil to be just right.

Let me ask you a riddle. Who was the only man that ever really frightened Nero and who he freed from prison? There was only 1 man. Who was good friends with General Vespasian before and after he conquered Jerusalem and before and after he became Roman Emperor? Who refused to visit Vespasian in Jerusalem after he conquered the city because of what the Synagogue of Satan Zionists/inhabitants of this city (Jeru-Salem) did to him in the past Who insisted that General Vespasian after conquering Jerusalem meet him in Alexandria on his own terms? Who did Flavius Josephus know from his early days as an Essene and considered him a good friend? Who did Josephus help write part of the NT for the new Essene school called Christianity? Who studied in the same Greek school by the sea as St. Paul? Who travelled around the world and visited the same spots as St. Paul? Who was the man that was also immune to snake bites like St. Paul? Who was mentioned by name in the Book of Acts? Who was already very famous as a young boy, known for his healing gifts? Who went from one end of the Roman Empire to the next wearing no animal skins on body or feet, only white cotton clothes? Who was preaching against all animal sacrifices in the temples? Who stood about 6’2’ tall, had a head full of long, thick dark red hair, a short beard and a brow of a god?

There are clues if one keeps an open mind and knows where to look to put the right pieces together at the right time. Jesus the Christ is a composite figure, made up of 2 men who were of Christ, as we all are in some manner so to speak. Once the truth gets out, the more remarkable it all seems to be. The TPTB back in the day never wanted the real facts to get out about either of these men. Ask yourself, why would that be? Why is one still considered a ruthless dictator when he was called a savior to his face and why is the other man called a lowly Pythagorean philosopher.

Despite the attempt by the TPTB to erase him from history, the Pythagorean philosophers' biography was a best seller for 500 years. The biography of the other Christ guy is still being written 2,000 years later.

Here's an interesting video on one the guys I mention above.

Happy Sunday :)

In the 1930s Ethelbert Stauffer, a German professor of New Testament Studies and director of Ancient History Studies at the University of Bonn, showed that the Easter liturgy does not follow the Gospel but the funerary ritual of Julius Caesar and that the Clementia Caesaris was the pre-Christian forerunner of Christ's forgiveness. G's us, not a dead rabbi. Richard Carrier debunks the myth of an historical Christ far better than Atwill. This information is also better understood in the content of Fomenko's "New Chronology".

The purpose of Christianity is to render the populace passive by having them believe in a coming Messiah who will save them. In reality, nobody is coming to save us, we have to save ourselves.

On a separate note, Quantum Physics is an obvious fraud, just like Nuclear Physics and all other scientific "Theories" (Gravity, Evolution, etc.). Clever old Bacon and his "infallible" Method - well done the Rosicrucians!

Jesus – The Imaginary Friend

Christianity was the ultimate product of religious syncretism in the ancient world. Its emergence owed nothing to a holy carpenter. There were many Jesuses but the fable was a cultural construct.

The nativity yarn is a concatenation of nonsense. The genealogies of Jesus, both Matthew's version and Luke's, are pious fiction. Nazareth did not exist in the 1st century AD – the area was a burial ground of rock-cut tombs.

With multiple authors behind the original gospel story it is no surprise that the figure of "Jesus" is a mess of contradictions. Yet the story is so thinly drawn that being a "good Christian" might mean almost anything.

The 12 disciples are as fictitious as their master, invented to legitimise the claims of the early churches. The original Mary was not a virgin, that idea was borrowed from pagan goddesses. The pagan world knew all about virgins getting pregnant by randy gods: The Mythical "Virgin Mother".

Scholars have known all this for more than 200 years but priestcraft is a highly profitable business and finances an industry of deceit to keep the show on the road.

You should spend some time (years perhaps) educating yourself. Here is a list of resources which can be of assistance if you care to avail yourself of them:

Those who use 'us' or 'we' instead of "I", presuming to speak for 'us' as in everyone else are pushing to keep dupes enslaved to the jews. The she-male 'jeezus' agenda has been and is the most vile poison ever to be devised by jews. 'be meek' 'turn cheek' 'feed the weak', now you are nothing. It was devised to enslave, so dupe 'pay tax', and otherwise 'obey', also to rip us from our Nature gods worship so the jews could destroy nature as they have done and are finishing now. Nano chip chemtrails, smart grid, do the math.
The 'amen' reply post, 'amen' is from Amenhotep, one of the earlier pagan gods. For those not interested in being slaves to the jews anymore, put links on notes to hand out, inform others, thezog .info, holodomorinfo com, englishnews org jewish christianity page etc.

I like your posts, but don’t just copy/paste your sources text without reviewing it.
By example you wrote:

‘In Jeremiah 32:27 we read "God is all powerful."

In Judges 1:19 we read: "God is not all powerful." ‘

Neither those verses express those words, meaning those cited verses are interpretations, nor Judges 1:19 text refers to God but to Judah.
